In recent years the Lifeboat Day attracts thousands of visitors to a carnival atmosphere accompanied by a lifeboat launch and helicopter exercise.

A History of Moelfre Lifeboats
A comprehensive and in depth history of Moelfre RNLI’s lifeboats and volunteers has been recorded in the new book ‘Moelfre lifeboat: An Illustrated History’ by well-known author Nicholas Leach.This book is normally available in the Sea Watch Centre or from Amazon.
