Congleton Cycling Group - July 2025

The original Congleton Cycling Campaign turned into Active Travel Congleton, which then ceased existence.

The cycling campaign website still exists, and hosts links to other town cycling maps, but the site and the FB page are mothballed.

In 2023 Congleton Sustainable Travel was established within the Congleton Climate Action Group, which is a Friends of the Earth subgroup.

The group has had success in removing access control barriers ('A' frames and bollards in other words) from places in Congleton so people with double buggies, wheelchairs, tricycles and other wide mobility aids can get through, plus of course standard and non-standard cycles.
