The Environment Agency say that over a thousand fish were killed in this episode from 22nd of February 2023. (EA Ref: 02132393)

The point of entry to the river has been located, but unfortunately time-lapse photography shows that the problem (on a smaller scale) has been ongoing throughout March, and is worse during weekdays.

The foam was not an isolated incident. The foam episode has lots of similarities with Environment Agency Incident No 2062906 on 11th May 2022 at Old Mill Lane.
