20's plenty for Cheshire East

We've all enjoyed quieter roads over the last few months. While we can't stop cars returning we can make the roads safer for other road users.

The 20's plenty campaign is demanding a default 20mph limit on all residential urban and village streets in Cheshire East.

The campaign is at a crucial stage with a deciding vote coming up on 22nd July.

We'd love to show our councillors the local support for this initiative. A default 20mph speed limit will make our streets safer for all road users, encouraging active travel and protecting the most vulnerable members of our society.

It's not the only way we can reduce our dependence on cars and lorries and improve our air quality, but it's probably the quickest and cheapest.

It will complement perfectly the limited initiatives being introduced by Cheshire East over the next few weeks and months in response to the covid-19 crisis; but will make a much greater difference to the streets where we all live, work and play.

Please sign this petition to show our councillors there is real support public support for this and make sure they vote in favour.
